WA Youth Orchestra Presents Legends

A captivating journey of musical legends.Soothing, uplifting and incredibly popular, The Lark Ascending for violin and orchestra transports the audience on a captivating and ethereal musical journey.

Renowned local violinist Paul Wright will breathe new life into this classic work with the perfect mix of dazzling technique and heartfelt sensitivity.

A choir of over 100 young people will then join forces with the orchestra in a musical celebration of two inspiring songs by Australia's Paul Jarman, specially arranged for this performance.

The concert will also feature Bernstein’s adventurous and spirited Candide Overture and Symphony No.5 by Sergei Prokofiev, best known for his musical adventure, Peter and the Wolf.
