Tattersalls Folk and Roots with BWS and Donna Iverson

 

Perth Folk and Roots Club is back in central Perth at Tattersalls Folk and Roots at the Tattersalls Bowling and Recreation Club on Thursday 14th September 2023 with the support of the Tattersalls Bowling and Recreation Club and the City of Perth. 

 

The performances are from 6pm to 9pm at Tattersalls Bowling and Recreation Club, 2 Plain Street, Perth.  For this event, Perth Folk and Roots Club has Barham, Wilson and Smallman (BWS) and Donna Iverson supported by Kate Jensen. 

 

Events are free and meals are available through catering provided by Plain Street Kitchen, the in-house caterer providing meals for the event.  Barham, Wilson and Smallman (BWS) are a folk and country blues trio, with a long history in the Perth music scene.  Jeff Barham played with Howie Smallman in the late 70s’/early eighties in the Jaywalkers and John Wilson played with Howie in the mid eighties in Dave Hole and the Hellraisers.  Donna Iverson is a singer songwriter who is focused on melodically rich storytelling, acoustic folk rock musings and imaginings. 

 

In the late 90s in Melbourne, she formed the bands Lunasea (shoe-gaze) and Dosil Lisod (garage rock) ensembles and performed regular gigs in St.Kilda and Fitzroy and Collingwood venues.
