Sidewalk Astronomy is coming to Yagan Square, providing a captivating cosmic adventure suitable for all ages. ICRAR (International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research) are bringing their powerful 10-inch Dobsonian telescopes to the streets of Perth. Peer through them and explore the mesmerising features on the moon's surface, from majestic mountains to mysterious craters and historic astronaut landing sites. Real astronomers will be on hand to guide people through the celestial wonders and answer questions.

  • Tuc 47 (globular cluster, South)
  • Pleiades (open cluster, North)
