As the season progresses and the temperatures continue to rise, we'll start to see the flower stalks of the balgas emerging in preparation for the coming Kambarang season.
The vivid beauty and life of Perth’s natural wonders are paired with small pieces of information found on the KURONGKURL KATITJIN page of the ECU website.
12pm | Ohara Koson
Ohara Koson was the most famous shin hanga designer of bird and flower prints (kacho-e).
Koson’s exquisite prints offer a moment of quiet contemplation. The harmony of their composition and their peaceful subject matter are perfect additions to the visual landscape of Perth City in the winter.
2pm | AGWA Pulse Perspectives
WA's talented young artists are celebrated in this yearly showcase, gauging the pulse of young people who will influence, empower and shape the world we live in. The selected works provide a window into young people’s private, social and artistic concerns. It is in turns an inspiring, rewarding and insightful look at the world through the minds of our most talented young artists.
