Rainbow Timeline WA Exhibition
Rainbow Timeline of Western Australia Project.
The rainbow timeline project connects through time the LGBTIAQ+ communities' decades of activism, organisations, social groups and personal histories located within and around Perth Western Australia Noongar Boodja.
This exhibition touches on the history of the foundational group, Campaign Against Moral Persecution (CAMP Inc). Rarely seen ephemera and publications, archival 8mm and video, sourced from private collections, online and physical archives.
Dedicated to Hollywood, a Perth icon and the generations of people who are living and have lived before when voices were silenced, their stories hidden, forgotten and lost.
A start in unravelling uncovering our collective past and present, revealing the extraordinary lineage, kinship and diversity of the LGBTIQA+ community in WA today.
Supported by The City of Perth, GALAWA (Gay and Lesbian Archives of WA) and Murdoch University Library Special Collections.
No bookings required.
