This March, Raine Square proudly presents RADIATE, a vibrant, month‑long celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, running from 1–31 March.

The program brings together art, fashion, storytelling, sustainability, and career empowerment, all aligned with the UN Women Australia theme: “Balance the Scales”, which calls for fairness, inclusion, and equal access to opportunity for women and girls.

What’s on across the month

Care to Rewear Clothes Swap
Led by textile storyteller and circular fashion advocate Stephanie Pontet, this interactive fashion swap invites participants to reconnect with their wardrobes and rethink consumption. Visitors can bring up to 10 gently loved items—including clothing, shoes, jewellery, and accessories—and exchange them for something new‑to‑you, promoting sustainability, self‑expression, and community connection.

Be Inspired Portrait Series
This visual exhibition celebrates remarkable women from the 300 Murray community and the Raine Medical Research Foundation. Through powerful portraiture, the series highlights leadership, resilience, and the diverse contributions of women across business, research, and community life.

Art Exhibition by Michaela Psaila‑Savona
Perth‑based textile and mixed‑media artist Michaela Psaila‑Savona presents deeply emotive works exploring women’s resilience, vulnerability, and strength during life’s major transitions. Drawing on personal experience and a background in nursing and creative arts therapy, her work amplifies voices often unheard and celebrates women supporting women.

Spotlight Series – Short Story Machine
Enjoy moments of creativity and reflection with the Short Story Machine, where each button press delivers a short story centred on courage, community, and lived experience. This installation invites pause, curiosity, and connection within the everyday rhythm of the city.

Dress for Success WA Pop‑Up Activation
Bringing the IWD theme to life, Dress for Success WA hosts a three‑day pop‑up offering practical, confidence‑building support for women and women‑identifying people. Services include personalised CV and LinkedIn feedback from recruitment experts, career guidance, and optional professional headshots for $25, with proceeds supporting Dress for Success WA’s mission to help women achieve economic independence.
