Pride Parade

Be Brave. Be Strong. Be You! Join PrideWA in a celebration of the strength and resilience of the LGBTQIA+ community as Northbridge is filled with bright colours, sparkling sequins and sensational music for the PrideFEST 2023 Parade. Enjoy entertainment across multiple stages, and watch-on as the streets are filled with dancing, glitter and smiles.

You will be able to catch everyone from WA Police to Main Roads, Channel 7 stars to musical brass bands, sports clubs to dancing troupes....and this year’s first time entrant, Perth Zoo. This year’s Pride Parade is bought to you by Lotterywest and City of Perth.

Parade Pre-Party - From 6pm - FREE
Come down early to reserve your spot along the parade route and enjoy tunes from DJ Dean Misdale and drag performances from Fay Rocious and Cougar Morrison at the Pride Piazza. Alternatively head into Russell Square and soak up the vibes from DJ Kayty Banks and catch performances from BarbieQ & Alexas Armstrong, Skye Scraper & Miss Cara, and a special performance by Lyons Production.

Parade - From 7:30pm - FREE
The PrideFEST Parade will commence at 7:30pm with an official smoking ceremony. Marchers will then commence at 8pm along Aberdeen St, William St and James St before finishing at Russell Square. Channel 7’s Matt Tinney and Syan Vallance will be announcing the parade from the Pride Piazza along with tunes from DJ Jamilla.

Road closures will be in place from 4pm and spectators are requested to follow instructions of parade marshals and use the designated parade crossing points as required.

Continue the pride celebrations until midnight at Russell Square with performances on the Main Stage by Hannah Conda, Dolly Diamond and Matthew Pope. Enjoy sweet tunes by DJKP before closing out the night with Project Bexx. Entry is FREE and food and drink available for purchase.
