Poppies at Government House
The much loved annual Anzac Day poppy display will be open to the public from Saturday 11 April.
Volunteers from RSL Western Australia are planting over 40,000 hand crafted, crocheted poppies commemorating lives lost during World War I.
Among the red poppies, which represent fallen soldiers, are purple crocheted poppies which represent animals. Sprigs of rosemary, the symbol of Anzac Day, have also been planted on the lawns.
