Plastic Free July Workshops
Australians use around 100kg of plastic packing per household each year and it’s estimated by 2050, there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean.
In collaboration with the state's largest waste management authority, Mindarie Regional Council, the City of Perth are holding three workshops to support and prepare for Plastic Free July – a global campaign creatively addressing this huge environmental challenge. Come along to learn how to reduce your single-use plastic waste and make easy DIY products. Please bring two small jars for your DIY product samples; all other materials and ingredients will be provided.
