Peruvian Independence Day Dinner @ UMA

UMA, Pan Pacific Perth’s vibrant Peruvian restaurant, is celebrating Independence Day on Friday 26 July 2024 with a decedent four-course Peruvian dinner.

The night, filled with a festive atmosphere will include scheduled performances by Fantasia Latina, showcasing their Latin American dancing and emulating celebrations throughout South America.
The carefully curated menu at UMA draws inspiration from Spain, Japan, China, Africa and the Incans. Designed by Executive Sous Chef Xerxes Bodhanwala, the Chef’s selection of signature Peruvian dishes pack vibrant colours and flavours into each dish. Guests are welcome to enjoy the four-set menu, or pair wines from UMA’s cellar with each course.
The Independence Day dinner celebrates some of UMA’s most iconic dishes including the citrus-infused Ceviche Peruano, eaten in Peru especially during celebrations this dish features lightly cured Shark Bay fish, ‘Leche de Tigre’, charred sweet corn and caramelised sweet potato. Anticuchos, another UMA signature dish, hero’s local O'Connor beef with rump cap skewers and smoked potato pureé. As an accredited Buy West Eat Best restaurant, UMA’s menu combines fresh Western Australian produce with South American recipes and ingredients to create a truly exceptional dining experience.
Join the festivities, and celebrate at UMA, bookings are available from 5:30pm choose the set menu experience $135.00 per person, with the option to add paired wines from UMA’s cellar for an additional $39.00 per person.
