Perth Comic Arts Festival
The Perth Comic Arts Festival is back to share its love for sequential storytelling in a free, creator-focused event that's all about making comics accessible for all ages.
Over two huge days at the Western Australian Museum Boola Bardip we're going to be celebrating the power and beauty of comics.
Saturday the 6th of August is our Academy Day for aspiring comics makers, educators and aficionados to come together for a deep dive into comics where you can hear from some of Australia’s most innovative comics makers.
Sunday the 7th of August is our Market Day, ideal for young familes and keen readers. 85 of Australia's more imaginative comics makers will be sharing their works in our bustling Market Hall and running hands-on workshops.
Our exhibition, "TALE TOWN: Tales from the Hermit Kingdom" will be open from the 6th to the 30th of August and features a free newspaper filled with comics from some of Perth’s most exciting storytellers.
PCAF is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation., As always, our entire program is free to take part in thanks to the incredible work of our committee and the generous contributions of our sponsors.
