Open Day - Supreme Court of Western Australia
This magnificent 1903 building has been home to Western Australia's highest court for 120 years. It has been the site of some of the most significant cases in the State's history, including the last death sentence imposed in 1963.
On this open day, the public are invited to explore the grand courthouse in Stirling Gardens, view heritage listed courtrooms, the Chief Justice's chambers, and inspect the cells below the building.
This is a self-guided tour where attendees will have the rare opportunity to speak with Supreme Court judges and registrars and see areas of the courthouse which are not usually open to the public.
