Not a Book Club — with David Whish-Wilson
Low commitment. High reward. Totally not a Book Club…
The Library’s Not a Book Club is a new author in-conversation series for readers who love stories, ideas, and conversation—without the homework.
Hosted by the brilliant Will Yeoman, this new series brings a mix of Western Australian favourites and touring authors for exclusive in-conversation events throughout 2026. With a blend of free and ticketed sessions, there’s something for everyone, and you can come to one or all five events.
Our first event features acclaimed local crime writer David Whish-Wilson and explores his new thriller O’Keefe.
In O’Keefe, undercover operative Paul Cutler returns for another adventure and assumes a new identity to find the source of Mexican cartel meth flooding Australian streets. Infiltrating a security company at Fremantle Port, he enters a clandestine struggle for control of the port’s smuggling operations.
Glass of wine on arrival and light refreshments provided. Books will be available for purchase and signing on the night.
All ticket sales are final, no refunds will be provided. Substitutions are accepted.
