Lunar New Year in the City

In celebration of Lunar New Year (Year of the Rabbit in 2023), key locations in the city including the Murray and Hay Street Malls and James and William Street in Northbridge will be lined with traditional Chinese lanterns. 

There will be traditional Chinese Lion Dancers at 12pm in the Murray Street Mall each day between 23 January and 3 February (except Australia Day) - weekdays only. The City is the best place to celebrate the 2023 Lunar New Year.
