Love Slaps

Love Slaps

What’s more romantic than improv? Improv romance!

Love Slaps is 50 minutes of pure improvised comedy. Each night, three of Perth’s most talented - and romantic - comedians will improvise an entire rom-com inspired by an audience member’s real love story. They’ll be asking for worst dates, unrequited loves, and crushes who’ve given you the ick. But there’s a twist: at one point during the show, one performer will get slapped.

Love Slaps is brought to you by the comedic duo Tamara Creasey and Elise Wilson, who’ve been performing together since 2017 and learning how to slap since 2004. To the soundtrack of live piano by Maddie Moulin, they’ll be joined onstage by special guests Esther Longhurst, Tegan Mulvany, Alicia Osyka, Sam Knox and Hannah Rice.

So come along once, twice or every night as each show will be completely different but equally hilarious. Fast paced and totally made up before your eyes, the improvisers will play a revolving door of characters. Love Slaps might feature your best friend turned soul mate, the one that got away, your gawky first crush, your jealous ex or your dog.

Love Slaps reminds us that a big part of love is failure. Yep, love slaps.
