LIGHTBOX  bathes Northbridge in an illumination of art, screening each night during FRINGE WORLD.

 

Whether it’s an on-screen exhibition, film season, live performance or a stylish promenade along James Street, LIGHTBOX is a riot of art, ideas, form, and mood. Go out and see the stars at LIGHTBOX25.

 

LIGHTBOX is a collaboration between the curators of the city’s urban screens, presenting a nightly illumination of art throughout the festival season.

 

LIGHTBOX began its journey on the Perth Cultural Centre Screen for FRINGE WORLD 2014 and continues on the City of Perth Northbridge Piazza Superscreen and City of Perth Forrest Place Arts Screens.

(Note there are no screenings on 2 February 2025 as on that night, the Northbridge Piazza is hosting the Chinese New Year Festival).

The Northbridge Piazza Screen hosts various events, from formal showings of feature films—complete with bean bag seating—to more casual gatherings for sporting events and exhibitions like this one. Visitors can relax on the lawn, savour the renowned culinary delights of Northbridge, or enjoy a stroll along James Street, taking in the vibrant neighbourhood.
