History of the Catholic Cathedrals in Western Australia | St Mary’s Cathedral
St. Mary's Cathedral is the mother church of the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth.
Join us for a guided tour of the stunning beauty of St. Mary's Cathedral, the biggest church in Western Australia, and an icon of the City of Perth. The tour will explain the Catholic Church's growth in Western Australia commencing at the Pro-Cathedral at 18 Victoria Avenue and the Cathedral's architectural and artistic developments spanning three centuries — from its relatively humble beginning in 1843, to the stunning 21st century building we see today.
Attendees will also have the exclusive opportunity to see inside the Cathedral's crypt.
The tour will be run on two sessions on the 15th of April, at 9.30am - 11am and 1pm – 2.30pm
