Fred Alexander: the man, the arts, the festival

Fred Alexander's contribution to the WA cultural landscape is not widely known. This moved reading of a play commissioned by his grandson and developed by THEATRE 180 will inform, entertain and celebrate one of WA's most significant cultural leaders as founder of the Perth Festival in 1953 and the man for whom your  State Library is named.
Brought to you by the producers of the highly popular theatre work "A Fortunate Life", this workshop showing of a new work commissioned by Fred’s Grandson Andrew Blanckensee will give you a taste of the theatre production to come.
