Flower Workshop - Spring Garden Bouquet

Join us for a truly special workshop surrounded by fresh Spring blooms under the Kings Park Flower Cave, an abundant canopy of native flowers located within Post Restaurant. Entry to the Kings Park Flower Cave is via the grand Postal Hall.

Debra Hayes has been a florist for almost 30 years, best known for her whimsical floristry style, immaculate flower and homewares store located in North Perth, and her signature floristry workshops.
Debra will teach you how to create your own perfectly imperfect bouquet in a natural rambling style using the best of the Spring season. Create your own hand tied bouquet of flowers to take home after enjoying a demonstration and talk from Debra.

The demonstration will focus on whimsical, organic design techniques using texture to give your bouquet that 'just picked' garden look. You will also learn about sustainability, flower care, floral recipes, and how to wrap and ribbon your bouquet.

Debra’s wealth of experience and relaxed teaching style brings out the best in total beginners through to more experienced creatives. You are encouraged to be ‘in the moment’ and create purely for the joy of being around beautiful flowers.

Ticket includes:
Suitable for all skill level, this workshop includes abundant premium spring flowers, all the fixings and tools to design your masterpiece, as well as refreshments provided by Post Restaurant.

This event is part of a series of workshops and talks at Gather - A Floral Exhibition.
