Festive Lights
Elizabeth Quay comes alive in the month of Christmas with Festive Lights! The highlight of the festivities is at 8:30pm, featuring a spectacular 500-piece drone show and fireworks from the barge on the Swan River, whisking visitors away to a magical world.
There’s plenty to enjoy on land too. Keep the whole family entertained with a variety of activities, including roving performers, hula hoop workshops, and for those up for a challenge, sideshow alley. When it’s time to cool down, head over to the BHP Water Park!
Amidst all the fun, treat your taste buds at the numerous food trucks and eateries around Elizabeth Quay. Relax and savour the experience with ample seating provided at the event.
Accessibility
The City of Perth is proud to host accessible and inclusive events.
- Promotional material is available in other formats upon request.
- Venue is accessible to people who use wheelchairs, walking aids and who are accompanied with prams.
- First Aid services will be available at this event.
- An Assistance Animal Relief Area will be available on Geoffrey Bolton Avenue, on the area near the toilets as marked on the event map
- An enclosed Accessible Viewing Area will be available in front of the Elizabeth Quay Carousel, providing a less crowded space with priority viewing for people living with disability. Limited seating will be available. Wheelchair users, please note access to this area is via paved pathways, and the surface within the space is solid and stable.
- Audio description services will be available during the light show segment of Festive Lights from 8:30pm to 8:45pm on Saturday 13 December. These services will be provided at the Accessible Viewing Area near the Elizabeth Quay Carousel, as indicated on the event map.

Bookings are essential and you will receive a confirmation email with more details. - A Sensory pod will be available at this event, please refer to the event map for exact location.
This space is a thoughtfully designed and purpose-built space, created to provide a calming and engaging environment for individuals with sensory processing needs. The pod is equipped with various sensory tools and activities, this innovative container offers a safe haven for those who may become overwhelmed in traditional settings. This area will be staffed by WA All Abilities Football Association from 5pm to 9pm. - Drinking water can be purchased from food stalls and nearby retailers. Drinking fountains are located at various points around the Elizabeth Quay inlet.

- This carpark is not accessible for ACROD parking during the weekend
Additional temporary ACROD bays will be reserved on The Esplanade and Riverside Drive as on street parking but are subject to availability.
Please note if parking at CPP Convention Centre car park that the pedestrian and vehicle exit to Riverside Drive will be closed during this event. Please exit via Mounts Bay Road and safely cross. William Street at the pedestrian crossing.

A taxi service is available for passengers with disabilities. This service operates 24 hours a day and it is recommended to book 24 hours in advance to avoid delays. The service can be booked on (08) 9333 3377.

The closest train station can be found at Elizabeth Quay Station, The Esplanade.
The closest bus stops are at Elizabeth Quay Bus Station.

Permanent and temporary toilet facilities are available throughout the event site.
Changing Places
A Changing Places facility is located at Elizabeth Quay, opposite the Elizabeth Quay Water Park. This facility also includes baby changing and nursing amenities.

Auslan Interpreting Services
Auslan interpreters will be available during the light show segment of the Festive Lights from 8:30pm to 8:45pm on Saturday 13 December. These services will be provided at the Accessible Viewing Area near the Elizabeth Quay Carousel, as indicated on the event map.
