EXHIBITIONS ON SCREEN | PCP COLLECTIVE

EXHIBITIONS ON SCREEN | PCP COLLECTIVE

Held in celebration of our diverse and talented photographic community, COLLECTIVE is Western Australia’s largest open-themed photographic art event.

Navigating the intricate landscape of today’s global environment, COLLECTIVE provides a haven for the convergence of creativity, innovative thinking, multiple perspectives, and critical discourse. Guaranteed to be an indelible experience, COLLECTIVE is a must-see exhibition for lovers of photography and those in pursuit of fresh new artworks.

The Digital On-Screen Exhibition screens in January on the City of Perth Urban screens. The Gallery exhibition opens 15 December at the PCP King Street Gallery. PCP Collective is supported by the City of Perth and Fitzgerald Photography.

The Perth Centre for Photography was established in 1992 as the Photography Gallery of WA. PCP is Perth’s only dedicated photographic arts organisation. PCP's aim is to promote and support emerging and established photo-based art in Western Australia, offering an environment that promotes an understanding and appreciation of contemporary photographic practices. In conjunction with their outstanding exhibition program, PCP has developed a range of initiatives including competitive awards, and a broad and engaging education and outreach program aimed at supporting photographers who wish to expand their practice.
COLLECTIVE screens from the City of Perth Northbridge Piazza Superscreen from January to February 2024.

Screening Times
Jan 1 – Jan 18 | 8 p.m.
Jan 30 – Feb 11 | 10 a.m.
 Feb 12 – Feb 18 | 2 p.m.

COLLECTIVE is an informal screening. The Northbridge Piazza Superscreen offers both formal and informal screenings. Formal screenings, such as the feature film seasons, are seated with limited bean bag seating provided. Informal screenings are unstructured and casual, offering unseated lawn screenings where you can find a spot on the Piazza lawns, enjoy the shade of the Piazza umbrellas, and Northbridge's famous food offerings, or simply promenade James Street for your cultural fix.
