Depths of the Ocean
Join Dr Todd Bond as he reveals the mysteries of the depths of the ocean, the largest habitat for life on earth.
Little is known about the depths of the ocean, despite it being the largest habitat for life on earth. By deploying ocean landers equipped with high resolution cameras, animal traps and environmental monitoring sensors we can finally begin to see what lives at the bottom of the Indian Ocean.
Discovering new deep-sea species, assessing marine biodiversity, mapping the ocean floor, and charting deep-sea habitats is all part of the exploring these exciting locations.
