Celebrating World Autism Awareness Day

Film one: 58 minutes

An Open Door (2024) director John Barnhardt

An Open Door is an international award-winning documentary celebrating Dr Temple Grandin’s pioneering work in animal welfare, autism advocacy, and inclusive neurodiversity through her unique perspective as a visual thinker on the autism spectrum.

Film two: 56 minutes

Sensory Overload (2025) director Kiana Moore

Nearly 20% of the world is believed to be neurodiverse. This groundbreaking documentary aims to help rewrite the narrative around neurodivergence and sensory sensitivity by telling the true stories of individuals who prove that these aren’t deficiencies—they’re just differences. This isn’t just a film about the neurodivergent spectrum; it’s about the spectrum of human experience.
