About Leah Vlatko
Leah Vlatko is a textile artist passionate about redefining what craft means in a contemporary setting. Slowing down and making things by hand, using ethically sourced yarns, and empowering handmade and DIY as a resistance to consumerism and slave labour. Through her practice Vlatko is contributing to the changing narrative of craft as a form of public interaction and collaboration, rather than a tool limited to the domestic woman's sphere.
