Convicts and Colonials
A guided tour explaining how convict transportation was introduced to the Swan River Colony in 1850 to answer demand for cheap and plentiful labour. Whilst convict transport lasted only 18 years, the legacy of this period is embedded in the streets of the city and the folklore of the state.
