Ascot Racing Carnival

Our Carnival kicks off with a bang on Ascot Opening Day, Saturday 12 October 2024. We then head straight into Sporting Legends Day the following Saturday for a celebration of WA sporting heroes, before we get festive and merry the next weekend for Irish Day.

As we enter November, fashion takes the spotlight on Derby Day at Ascot, with racegoers dressing to impress in their best black and white. Then it’s time to get amongst Perth’s biggest Cup Day party – Melbourne Cup Day at Ascot on Tuesday 5 November 2024.

Now, this might be the halfway point of the Carnival, but the most exciting part is yet to come! Get ready for The Pinnacles – 5 spectacular Saturdays, featuring the best racing in the world from 16 November to 14 December 2024. Expect the greatest show at Ascot, with a whole lot of after party action, plus Fashions on the Field, singing, dancing, live bands and much more.

Finally, we have the big finish, with WA’s most iconic New Year’s Day party – Perth Cup Day on Wednesday 1 January 2025.
