2023 Perth Poetry Festival

WA Poets Inc (WAPoets) is presenting a 9-day poetry Perth Poetry Festival (PPF2023) in September.

• the only literature festival in WA devoted entirely to poetry.
• showcases featured local WA poets alongside invited national and international guests which include culturally and/or gender diverse with a diverse program of themed readings, seminars, residencies, award ceremonies and book launches
• provides opportunities for local poets to participate via readings, open microphone segments and micro-residencies.
• offers networking and skill- development at workshops and seminars led by practicing poets of a high industry standard.
• accessible to as many as possible by keeping ticketed prices low and providing some free events.
• available via ZOOM enabling international and interstate audiences to attend events
