Albert Barnett (A.B.) Facey’s award-winning autobiography, A Fortunate Life, is an incredible true story of an ordinary man who lived his life with extraordinary courage, compassion, and resilience.

A Fortunate Life embraces themes that are intrinsic to our history and culture as modern Australians – resilience, fortitude, hope and integrity.

Adapted by Theatre 180’s Jenny Davis and Stuart Halusz, this unique theatrical production is a striking collaboration between stage and screen combining live performance and immersive audiovisual projections.
