Head down to Supreme Court Gardens and turn your gaze to the incredible hanging art installation, 1.8 by Janet Echelman. This American artist replicated the pattern from the 2011 earthquake that occurred in Japan and took inspiration from the tsunamic waves that came from it. This installation has also featured in global cities such as London, Beijing, San Diego and now Perth! This free, immersive experience is guaranteed to be a must-see this winter. If first date jitters have gotten the best of you, don't fret, we've just given you some facts you can use as conversation starters (you're welcome).
To top that off, we recommend following that with a visit to Hadiqa. Their share-style plates are blended with Moroccan, Mediterranean and Greek flavours, and are perfectly accompanied with their signature drink, the Hadiqa Spritz. Book ahead to build your own Spritz Tree with a mix of your favourite variations from the menu!
