What to expect

The park will be awash with colour, with over 3,000 native plant species set to be on display. Visitors can wander through stunning floral displays, take part in guided walks, interactive workshops, and art exhibitions, many of them free and all of them designed to celebrate WA’s unique biodiversity and cultural heritage. If you’re keen to take a piece of the festival home with you, there’ll be a plant sale on from 13-14 September, where you’ll be able to purchase beautiful plants you might not be able to get your hands on anywhere else.

This year’s festival is extra special, marking the 60th anniversary of the Western Australian Botanic Garden – expect commemorative events like science tours, wellness activities, and family-friendly experiences that make the festival perfect for all ages.
