"Ripple Effect" Exhibition by George Aitken

Council House | Now until 10 October

Ripple Effect, an exhibition developed in partnership with KAMILĖ GALLERY (Cathedral Square and State Buildings), features the neon artworks of Western Australian artist George Aitken. The works translate through coloured fluorescent light, reflecting a spreading effect or series of consequences caused by a single action or event, like ripples expanding across water when an object is dropped into it. Yagan Square Goes Wild This School Holidays With Zooventure! 

Get ready for an enchanting journey into the world of native Australian animals as Yagan Square transforms into a delightful menagerie these school holidays. 2023 AWESOME Festival

The AWESOME International Arts Festival for Bright Young Things (the AWESOME Festival) is presented annually in the Perth Cultural Centre.

The Festival showcases a spectacular array of events including theatre, creative workshops, ballet, music, exhibitions and a whole range of free activities! More here

Musos in the Malls - Celebrating original music

The popular Musos in the Mall sessions are back! The City of Perth, together with Activate Perth, are this time celebrating original music. WA local artists will be performing their original music to crowds gathering in Hay Street Mall (outside David Jones) each Friday of the school holidays. Swing past for a song or stay for the whole performance! 

Perth Scorchers Fan Day 2023

WACA | 1 October

Head to the WACA Ground on Sunday 1 October from 11:00am to 1:00pm for the 2023 Perth Scorchers Fan Day. This is your opportunity to meet Perth Scorchers Weber WBBL and KFC BBL players, grab a signature and even a selfie! There will be plenty of other fun family activities like laser tag, mini golf, inflatables and bubbleology, face painting and airbrush tattoo.

TREE MAN, a large-scale interactive installation

Discover Tree Man by ENESS, a large-scale interactive installation landing in Cathedral Square this October.
 
In an increasingly digital world, reconnect with the environment through the arms of Tree Man, an installation created in response to the digital-driven culture of contemporary times, a notion encapsulated visually through the sculpture’s screen-shaped head.
