It’s all fun and games

Head to Pixel Expo III, WA’s biggest gaming and animation expo, on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. There’ll be retro gaming rooms and tabletop games to play, a wide range of workshops and panel discussions, a cosplay catwalk and much more. Kids under 5 enter free with a paying adult, and those aged 5 to 12 get child ticket prices.

You can also give the kids a taste of the games of your childhood at The Nostalgia Box. This video game museum in City West has vintage consoles spanning the 1970s to the early 2000s and an interactive gaming area where you can play beloved classics. They’re open seven days a week during school holidays.

Beyond that, there are game arcades, mini golf, escape rooms and many more amusements around the city. Check out Perth’s top spots for gaming
