Between the 1950s and 1980s, when the art world was predominantly male-dominated, four remarkable women transformed Perth’s cultural landscape, establishing galleries that became vital platforms for artistic expression and innovation. They created communities, nurtured talent, challenged conventions, built bridges between artists and audiences and Perth’s art scene evolved from provincial to progressive. This exhibition celebrates their legacy through the works of the artists telling stories of artistic achievement vision and dedication of the women who made such achievements possible.

Boss Crew in Boorloo is set to bring bold, deadly and vibrant energy to the heart of Perth this April, showcasing the talent of First Nations artists and emerging performers. Every Thursday in April, from 12pm – 2pm, Yagan Square will transform into a centre stage for creative Indigenous talent - with a fresh lineup of modern, dynamic dance and music lighting up the precinct each week.

Children and families are invited to enjoy a relaxed, drop-in sensory play experience inspired by Nyoongar Country. Using natural textures, bush scents, flowers and leaves, children can explore and connect with the land. Older children can get creative at the clay creations station, where they will sculpt animals found on Nyoongar Country.
