HadiqaHead to the rooftop oasis of Hadiqa at Hibernian Place to enjoy not one, not two, but three of their most popular cocktails with their Spring Cocktail Tray. This trio of miniature delights includes their seasonal Hadiqa Swizzle, a refreshing Hadiqa Spritz, and a sweet Turkish Delight Martini. It’s available before 7pm daily all through spring (September to November) for $30 - or bring a friend and get two for $50 as part of Fun on a $50!
Market GroundsMarket Grounds features a different free-flowing cocktail each month for their ‘Sip Sip Sessions’ - long lunches with two hours of delectable drinks and share plates for $79pp. In September they’re welcoming the warmer weather with Long Island Iced Teas. Get the gang together and enjoy three bespoke recipes matched to the menu.
Pirate Life PerthPirate Life Perth has two brand new bars just in time for spring, so get down and be among the first to try them!
First up there’s CRUSH, a Palm Springs-inspired space full of pastels and succulents, where you can grab one of their ‘Crush puppies’ - boozy slushies in fruity flavours like kiwi & cucumber or pineapple & coconut - accompanied by Cali/Mex-style food. Got a group? Go for the ‘pup-tree’, featuring two of each of the four flavours.
Then head through the giant mural into basement bar Honey, a rum-focused bar serving cocktails like the Pia-tini (coconut rum, crème de banana, fresh lemon & pineapple) along with Caribbean-inspired snacks. Drooooool!
QTFor September only, Santini Bar and the Rooftop at QT have a range of six unique twists on the negroni, each one crafted by the cocktail pros at QT Hotels around the nation. The Perth version is all about peach and yuzu, while the Gold Coast version uses shiraz gin and elderflower and the Newcastle version has chocolate bitters. The only question is which to try first!
For a whimsical cocktail list it’s hard to go past Wolf Lane. Pop in for one of their storybook-inspired creations, like ‘Pushing Up Daisies’ (a lavender, elderflower, lemon and apple concoction) and ‘Three Wishes’ (pink gin, sparkling wine and cranberry juice). Or if you want to develop your own mixology skills so you can stir and shake your way through summer, book in for one of their themed Cocktail Masterclasses!
The Flour FactoryThe Flour Factory - home of Perth’s largest gin collection - has just launched their seasonal cocktails, with an array of floral beauties joining the menu for spring. “It’s Thyme Honey” consists of gin, grapefruit syrup, lemon juice, fresh thyme and florals, while “Flowers, Spice, Everything Nice” is possibly the ultimate spring cocktail with marigold spiced syrup, fresh citrus and florals on gin and rye.
