PERTH
Painted in 2017 and located in Erricheti Place in Northbridge, this huge mural by local artist Melski brings a fabulous splash of colour to a traditionally grey laneway.
Breakfast, lunch and coffee @ Flora & Fauna (4/70 Aberdeen St, Northbridge)
First established in 2014, Flora & Fauna is one of Perth’s most popular cafes with arguably the prettiest breakfasts in town. The tiny kitchen delivers huge but healthy portions, with all main dishes being vegetarian plus an array of vegan baked goods to choose from. Their famous apple crumble is a must-try and their chocolate chunk cookies are to die for, especially with a hot coffee on the side. Dogs are welcome too!Lunch, dinner and cocktails @ Henry Summer (69 Aberdeen St, Northbridge)
Located where The Shed once lived, Henry Summer has quickly earned a reputation as an urban oasis in the heart of Northbridge. With lush décor, cocktails on tap and an uber cool vibe, Henry Summer manages to cater to all foodie needs. From casual bites and grazing platters to long-table banquets with an à la carte menu to boot, you’re guaranteed to find something for everyone. Their extensive menu even includes dog-friendly jerky, so you can treat your furry best mate too.LEEDERVILLE
This beautiful mural was painted by Perth artist Sarah McCloskey, AKA SARSAR in April 2015. It was created for FORM's ‘PUBLIC PERTH’ street art festival that year, and you'll find it located at 112 Oxford Street in Leederville.
Breakfast, lunch and coffee @ Queen of Leeds (114 Oxford St, Leederville)
With warm, rustic décor and delicious coffee, it’s no surprise that Queen of Leeds consistently receives 5-star reviews on Facebook. And while they’re all about the coffee, they also have a small but mighty menu available with treats like gruyere, onion jam & mushroom toasties, tasty chicken pies, wholesome salads and brekky burgers.Vietnamese street food @ Bunn Mee (112 Oxford St, Leederville)
Located next to Queen of Leeds, Bunn Mee was established in 2018 by former Masterchef contestant Jenny Lam and her family. While Bunn Mee became an instant hit thanks to Jenny’s bahn mi rolls, the whole menu is mouth-watering. From their classic pho, banh xeo and bun cha gio to Bunn Mee’s new vegan ‘lace spring roll noodle salad’, you’re sure to find dishes to suit kids and adults alike.Catch a movie @ Luna Palace Cinemas (155 Oxford St, Leederville)
First built in 1927 as the New Oxford Theatre, Luna Palace embodies pre-war art deco styles with stucco embellishment. And, since 2014, the venue’s Vincent Street exterior has also boasted one of Perth’s most popular murals, painted by Australia artist Fintan Magee. Now a bustling arthouse cinema with super comfy seats and a fully licensed bar, Luna offers all the latest blockbusters plus an eclectic range of foreign and independent films. They also transform their courtyard into an outdoor cinema during summer months, allowing locals to kick back with a beer, a choc top and a movie on those balmy Perth evenings.SUBIACO
Painted in 2017 and located in Forrest Square, this piece was created over three days by Spanish artist Okuda San Miguel, AKA OKUDART. It's split into two works entitled 'Kid Koala Playing God' and 'Kingaroo', and reflects the artist's trademark style of using pop surrealism (and in this case - some Australiana) to raise contradictions about existentialism, the universe, the meaning of life and the false freedom of capitalism.
Eat Greek @ George’s Mezé (26 Denis St, Subiaco)
A little slice of Greece in the heart of Subiaco, George’s Mezé recently celebrated their 18th year as a Subi favourite for casual dining. Their menu is everything you’d hope for and more, with an extensive range of wines, meats, cheeses, seafood and vegetarian options. Alternatively, you can opt for the chef’s mezé selection ($79 for 2 people), which changes daily and provides a platter of delicious dips and mezés.
Sample sweet Greek delights @ Lukamades (79 Rokeby Road, Subiaco)
Lukumades – or Greek donuts – are arguably the most tempting treats on the streets of Subi right now. Made fresh to order and eaten straight from the fryer, this slick hole-in-the-wall has really nailed the comfort food angle. Toppings include Nutella, Twix, Oreo, jaffa, strawberry jam or matcha & white chocolate, with the option to add a scoop of tasty gelato and a coffee on the side. If you’d prefer the more traditional style though, try them drizzled in honey, cinnamon and crushed nuts like you’d find in a classic Greek bakery.VICTORIA PARK
Entitled “Heart of the Sea’, this funky mural by local artist and illustrator, Chris Nixon, was commissioned by FORM and painted in 2015.
Shop @ Urban Revolution (284 Albany Highway, Victoria Park)

This includes selling locally made goods (to reduce emissions from interstate shipping), working with local men’s sheds, and focusing on products that can be composted. Their methane-reducing Ensopet Microbial Pet Waste Composting Kit is a best-seller ($75.90), and they also have an extensive seed library for the gardeners out there.
