Firing off like a cracker, Hideous Sun Demon make their long-awaited return to Perth and they’re bringing their new songs, a new member and a very new and hot 7-inch vinyl, Development Hell. Every time I’ve seen them, they’ve delivered in spades high energy post-punk indie shows, which gets the crowd bouncing off the walls and each other. To mark the occasion the night will also see bands MSOL and Silver Hills taking to the stage in support. Find all the information here.

Phantom Limbo
The Sewing Room | Saturday, 8th May 2021
For less than a beer, you can catch one of Perth’s up and coming bands Phantom Limbo as they launch their new EP at one of the best live venues in the city. Phantom Limbo is relatively new to the scene but already has a really solid, earthy sound that is rooted in loud fuzzy guitars and a penchant for that ‘90s indie-grunge sound. Here Comes The Rooster and Dougie will also be joining the trio in support to deliver what will no doubt be a chilled vibe and a night of brilliant new music. Find all the information here.
APIA Good Times Tours
Perth Concert Hall | Friday, 14th May 2021
The APIA Good Times Tour returns once more to Perth offering up what might be the best-kept secret concert for the year. The first time I went to a Good Times concert I was blown away by not only the depth of talent but the list of Australian legends that performed, and this year is no different. There are disco idols and Countdown stalwarts Leo Sayer and John Paul Young, arguably the best female voices in Australian music Kate Ceberano, Deborah Conway, Wendy Matthews, and Vika & Linda Bull, and two of the finest songwriters around Joe Camilleri and Brian Cadd. Their songs are the soundtrack of growing up for so many Australians and it promises to once again be an unforgettable gig. Tickets on sale now.

Eli Greeneyes is well known on the Perth music scene for being a talented songwriter with an empathetic voice. Finally, we’ll get to see what he’s been working on as he embarks on his first tour around the state. His music is ambitious and plays along the lines of Hip Hop, punk with a flash of stadium rock.
