Woman Scream Poetry Event 2022

Perth Woman Scream is a month-long festival of events and workshops run by WA Poets Inc. But this unique poetry event is one you won’t want to miss. Featuring performances from local woman poets (and those who identify as woman) centered around increasing understanding of the lives of women in our community and the daily issues they both grapple and overcome, any funds raised will be donated to domestic violence support service Starick.
And as if that wasn’t enough, this is just one of a chain of international arts-based events that mark International Women’s Day and demand an end in violence towards women.
