Perth Italian Festival

Get ready to embrace your inner Italian at this lively festival celebrating Perth’s Italian heritage. Enjoy authentic Italian food, live music, iconic car displays and a stunning firework show, while the Sbandieratori, direct from Italy, will amaze you with their flag-twirling performance. It’s the perfect chance to experience Italy’s culture without leaving Perth.
Buddha’s Birthday and Multicultural Festival
Supreme Court Gardens | Saturday 12 April & Sunday, 13 April
Join in the festivities and immerse yourself in Buddhist traditions at one of Perth's largest multicultural events. Savour delicious Chinese and Southeast Asian vegetarian dishes, enjoy wellness activities and be amazed by multicultural performances. The interactive children’s program will keep younger guests entertained, while adults can participate in calligraphy workshops or explore meditation sessions.
Royal Perth Hospital Heritage Precinct Walking Tour
Meet outside the Moreton Bay Fig 10 Murray St, Perth | Saturday, 12 & Sunday, 13 April
Step back in time and discover the fascinating history of Perth's oldest hospital, in continuous operation since 1855. This guided walking tour takes you behind the scenes of the Royal Perth Hospital, showcasing significant historical sites like the original Colonial Hospital, the Nurses' quarters, the Administration Building and an early isolation ward. Old Central Fire Station Heritage Family Fun Day

Explore Perth's historic 125-year-old fire station on this fun, family-friendly day. Take a tour of the station, play in the old horse paddock and meet Freddy the Fire Truck. Kids can dress up as firefighters and hop aboard a vintage fire truck for a photo-op. Free entertainment will be provided throughout the day, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
Supreme Court Open Day
Supreme Court of Western Australia | Sunday 13 April
Discover the grand 1903 building that has been home to Western Australia’s highest court for 122 years. Visit heritage listed courtrooms, talk to judges, learn about historic cases and inspect the cells below. This opportunity only comes around once every 2 years!
Poppies at Government House
Government House Gardens | 8 - 10, 12, 13, 15 - 17, 22, 23 & 25 April
Admire the handiwork of ‘the Poppy Ladies’ from RSL WA as you walk through more than 40,000 knitted poppies that honour the lives of the brave servicemen lost in WWI.
