There is so much to see and do at Perth by Light this winter! Message the group chat and make plans to head into the city for a night out. There's something about getting rugged up and wandering around the city that a night in just can't beat.

Perth by Light is an incredible festival of light, dance and events waiting for you to discover this winter in the City of Perth, when it’s safe to do so.

Due to COVID-19 lockdown in Perth, many events featured in our Perth by Light booklet programme are now postponed or cancelled.

Seek out the infamous streets in Perth for Street Art Luminism. The street art murals located on Lions Walk, Wolf Lane and Grand Lane will have different projections screened on top of them to give you a visual spectacle that is a sight to see!

Get your groove on and head to Forrest Place for We Can Dance. Not a natural born dancer? Do you have two left feet? Fear not! You’ll have your own private dance studio to show off your best dance moves with the guidance of home-town Dance Maker Mitch Harvey. This Australian premiere by Canadian luminaries Daily tous les jour is brought to you by Artrage, the producers of FRINGE WORLD Festival.

We Can Dance

Although Perth isn’t one to snow, the Perth Snow Fest has everything you need to escape to a place that does. Rug up and adventure to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre to experience all that is on offer for a snow filled winter. Perth Snow Fest will feature a giant snow slide, sideshow games, a winter snow playground and unlimited access to all the amusement rides plus more.

If you ever wanted to know what it would be like to be inside of an igloo minus the below zero temperatures, we've got the answer. The Winter Village will transform the Ice Cream Factory in Northbridge and turn it into a winter wonderland. Reserve your own personal igloo for up to 8 friends and enjoy some nibbles and drinks inside. You can also expect daily snow showers, food and drink pop-ups as well as an incredible ice rink!
