It’s no secret that sometimes finding the perfect gift for every member of your family can certainly work up an appetite. Thankfully, when you’re doing your Christmas shopping in the City, you’ve got hundreds of cafés, bars and restaurants where you can take a pit stop and fuel up for the next round.

Balmy nights call for spicy dishes! Get your fix of traditional Thai street food in the gorgeous surrounds of the State Buildings. Transport yourself to another world while you dine — and just in case there’s one or two gifts you forgot, Cathedral Square next door is hosting Christmas Markets Friday evenings until 8:30pm.
