Some of Perth’s best cocktail bars are going all out this Easter with spectacular specials and egg-cellent events:

The Aviary’s famous eggspresso martinis are back for the whole month of April. Try the Classic Eggspresso Martini (a combo of vodka, Kahlua, caramel and cold brew coffee served in a chocolate egg) or take it to the next level with the Eggspresso Experience (which has a scoop of Gusto Gelato’s espresso martini-flavoured gelato AND a serve of Kahlua on the side!)

Hadiqa is hosting an Easter edition of Cocktails on the Terrace, their rooftop mixology series, on Saturday 16th. Enjoy a spritz and (of course) chocolate on arrival, nibble on a grazing board as you learn the art of crafting cocktails from the masters, and get behind the bar to make your own bevvies in this two-hour session.

The kings of gin at The Flour Factory are holding an Easter Gin Masterclass. Also on the afternoon of Saturday 16th, this one-hour class will include four gin, tonic and garnish combos paired with treats from the kitchen to graze on.

Easter Afternoon Tea at Hearth daily from Saturday 9th to Sunday 17th April, with a droolworthy menu served overlooking Elizabeth Quay and starting at $75 (with a range of beverage options).

Easter High Tea at the Rooftop at QT every Saturday in April, with savoury eats and sweet treats including chocolate cannoli, chocolate tart, tiramisu and of course chocolate eggs starting from $65.

The Aviary’s special Good Friday lunch, featuring three courses (including your choice of main and a decadent chocolate dessert) plus three hours of house wine and beer for $110.

Easter Long Lunch Club at Market Grounds on Easter Sunday, a three-course feast of seasonal shared plates topped off with a Golden Gaytime infused Bombe Alaska, along with a signature Easter Espresso Martini menu (including the vanilla choc nitro martini, salted caramel espresso martini, and coconut espresso highball), all for $69.

Ease into Easter

Don’t miss the special deals at the stunning State Buildings in the lead-up to the long weekend. From Tuesday 12th to Thursday 14th April, they’re offering 20% off your bill for lunch bookings at three restaurants. The hardest part will be choosing between Italian at POST, share plates at Petition and Thai at Long Chim.

While you’re there, a visit to Sue Lewis Chocolatier to fill your Easter basket is a must. Spend over $100 on chocolate eggs, bunnies and other treats to receive a free cooler bag.

Hello, hot cross buns

It wouldn’t be Easter without some HCBs, so stop by the Mary Street Bakery at QV1 or Allendale Square to stock up. Frequently voted some of the best hot cross buns in Perth, the Mary Street selection includes not only traditional buns but also a choc-orange flavoured option.

Or for something a little bit different, Croff Bakehouse has you covered with their ‘hot cross knot’ - a cinnamon raisin pastry - which is joining the menu for a limited time (along with other unique creations like a creme egg cronut). Pre-ordering online is strongly recommended.
