Perth Chinese New Year Fair

The Perth Chinese New Year Fair 2021 (PNCYF) is a colourful multicultural community street carnival celebrating Chinese New Year, the year of the OX. This free family event will showcase Chinese culture through food and beverage, performing arts, sports, activities, games and information sharing.

Perth Glendi presented by LiveLighter - A Greek Festival

Come along and experience a little bit of Greece right here in Perth. Glendi - it's Greek for Party! World famous Greek dishes like lamb on the spit, souvlakia, gyros, calamari, baby octopus, greek salads, dips and more. Join in the Zorba Dance!

Perth Japan Festival Matsuri 2021

The annual Perth Japan Festival Matsuri is the biggest Japanese cultural event in WA and the only event held in Perth that is dedicated to celebrating Japanese culture. The aim of the event is to promote good relations between Japan and Australia, provide an opportunity for the Japanese community to unite and celebrate together, and to provide non-Japanese residents with an understanding of Japanese culture, tradition and way of life. The event includes the following cultural performances:

  • Japanese music performed on traditional instruments
  • Japanese choir
  • Martial arts demonstrations
  • Japanese dancing
  • Japanese kimono parade

Plus plenty of Japanese food and stalls!

ISWA Holi 2021, Festival of Colours

Get ready for a colourful day out!

The ISWA Holi Festival of Colours is a free, family friendly event.  Run by the peak body of all Indian associations in WA, ISWA thrives on promoting and sharing the rich and vibrant cultural heritage of India to the wider Western Australian community. Holi, the festival of colours promotes peace, harmony and mutual respect irrespective of language, gender and nationality. Enjoy the music, performances, water-slides and fun games at Langley Park.

Buddha's Birthday & Multicultural Festival

Buddha’s Birthday & Multicultural Festival (BBMF) is a free annual community event which has been celebrated in Perth since 1992. BBMF is a two day event that showcases and celebrates ethnic diversity through Buddhist ceremonies, meditation, art, cultural displays, music, dance performances, mindfulness activities and a vegetarian food fair!
