Be delighted on this Trail by our dazzling light displays, enchanting building projections and joyful street decorations. Plus there's roving entertainment every Friday and Saturday night and during the day on Saturdays and Sundays to add that extra dose of Christmas spirit!
1. Hoppy Christmas | Presented by WA Museum Boola Bardip
James Street Mall
Start off your trail by wandering through Northbridge and you’ll find a golden kangaroo shining bright at WA Museum Boola Bardip. Snap a pic with this bouncing buddy to kick off the Christmas spirit!
Every Sunday from November 28 at 10am at the WA Museum, you’ll be able to attend their Animal Encounters session. Get up close and personal with some of the live residents of the Wild Life gallery at WA Museum Boola Bardip. Find out about where they like to live, what they like to eat, and what tasty morsels are on the menu, as well as what you can do to help them thrive and survive.
2. Reindeer Welcome
Perth Cultural Centre
As you continue your way along the Christmas Lights Trail, be greeted by two friendly reindeer standing over four metres tall.
There are always plenty of events and exhibitions at the Perth Cultural Centre, be sure to stop by while checking out the Trail. Just around the corner, you’ll find Pretzel. Grab yourself a sweet or savoury snack for take-away to bring along the trail!
3. Constellation Tunnel | Presented by Lotterywest
Northbridge Piazza, Lake Street
While you’re in Northbridge it’s the perfect opportunity for some retail therapy. You’ll discover an abundance of stylish boutiques along William Street stocking unique bits and bobs for stocking stuffers and vintage finds to lift your gifting game. Plus! With the weather slowly heating up, there’s no better way to cool down your summery nights with a scoop or two from Chico Gelato!
4. Giant Snow Dome | Presented by RAC Arena
RAC Arena, Wellington Street
Head across to RAC Arena and this larger-than-life snow dome is one stop you do not want to miss this year! Peer into the dome and see what wonders lie inside, hit the special button to watch as the installation is brought to life.
5. Golden Gift
Wellington Gardens, Telethon Avenue
It seems like one of Santa’s gifts has fallen from his sleigh and landed right in the middle of Wellington Gardens. Standing at over four meters tall, immerse yourself inside the giant present!
6. Rainbow Christmas | Presented by Kings Square
Kings Square, Kings Street
Standing at eight meters high and covered in over 10,000 lights, this dazzling tree will have you captivated as it transitions through all the colours of the rainbow.
7. Prancer | Presented by Yagan Square
Yagan Square, William Street Mall
Santa has lost one of his reindeers! Can you find Prancer? He was last spotted admiring Yagan Square and standing at 7 meters tall, he’s hard to miss!8. Fast & Festive | Presented by Raine Square
Raine Lane, Raine Square
While St. Nick is busy preparing his sleigh, he has parked his vintage car at Raine Square. Hop in and see how Santa shines every other month of the year in his second favourite ride – it’s looking fast and festive!
9. Illumine | Presented by 140
140, Opposite The Globe
Watch as the impressive Beastman x Vans the Omega mural springs to life at sunset with mesmerising festive patterns and pops of colour. You won’t be able to look away! Needing a bite to eat afterwards? 140 on William is filled with a range of cuisines and choices to delight your senses. Whether you’re fancying a juicy burger from Ribs & Burgers or some dumplings from BamBamBoo, you’ll find it here.
10. City of Perth Christmas Tree
Murray Street Mall
Sing along while you check out this impressive Christmas tree that’s playing a range of classic and modern Christmas favourites. This is the tallest installation on the trail, standing at over 12 meters high!11. Gingey
Forrest Place
Catch a glimpse of this eye-candy, standing at over three meters tall! A giant gingerbread man is visiting Forrest Place and he is sure to give you a sugar rush. Your next stop is a short walk away and you’ll be able to find some other Christmas classics aglow in Forrest Place – keep exploring!Plus! Standing to attention for Forrest Place visitors, the Nutcrackers bring a classic Christmas story to life right in the heart of the city. In Germany, traditionally, these are known to be symbols of good luck – snap a pic (for good luck of course).13. Monty’s World | Presented by Myer
Forrest Chase, Padbury Walk Level 1
Travel with Monty as they pass through magical lands. This immersive display is one not to be missed. One more stop to go!If you find yourself walking along the blue trail on a Friday night, follow your nose and delve into the delicious eats at the Twilight Hawkers Market.
14. Festive Frame
Murray Street Mall
Snap a festive group photo with your nearest and dearest in this giant photo frame illuminating Murray Street Mall.The city welcomed in WA’s first Betty’s Burgers this year and it has climbed its way to the big leagues of juiciest and tastiest burgers. You’ll find this one in Forrest Chase, right near some stops on the trail so you can stop yourself and take a bite into a delicious burger.
